Return and refund policy

At YFX Australia, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service. This policy details your rights and our procedures to ensure a seamless experience for returns and warranty claims.

Returns accepted for 14 days

Restocking fee - 20% within 14 days

Restocking fee - 40% within 30 days

Customers will not be eligible for returns or refunds 30 days or final sale items after receiving the product(s).

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

All products sold by YFX Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Ship-back to YFX Australia policy:

If one or more products are eligible for return to YFX Australia, customer must be returned to the designated location in accordance with YFX Australia’s return instructions.  If a customer returns any product without obtaining prior return authorization from YFX Australia, YFX Australia reserves the right to refuse reimbursement for any associated return costs.

Returning Products

Returned items with damaged packaging or signs of use cannot be accepted for return.

---Regarding Packaging and Warranty Claims:

  • If the customer receives a product with damaged outer packaging, please take photos immediately for documentation and potential return purposes.

  • If the product itself is undamaged and functions properly upon receipt, but later develops a quality issue, YFX Australia may ignore the packaging damage and proceed directly with the warranty claim.

  • Important: The original packaging must be retained for all return or warranty requests. Products returned without their original packaging may be refused by YFX Australia.

Customers are required to retain the original product packaging until the end of the warranty period.

Customer are not required to retain the original product packaging if the product is installed by YFX Australia.

In-Store Returns

  • Visit any YFX Australia store for a technical assessment.
  • Items dropped off on weekends will be evaluated on the next available weekday.
    Please note: This policy applies only to purchases made at YFX Australia stores.

Online Purchases

  • Submit a return request through our website or contact email.

  • Once approved for assessment, items must be returned within 3 days.

Change of Mind Returns:
Restocking fee will apply.  If the return is shipped to YFX Australia, the customer is responsible for all additional shipping charges.

Product Dispute:

The images used by YFX Australia are intended to provide a general overview of product displays. YFX Australia does not sell all items shown in the images. The product selected by the customer will correspond to one or more specific items depicted in the image. The final interpretation right belongs to YFX Australia.

Example: A customer is viewing and intends to purchase a Phone Holder. The image shows a Phone Holder Arm connected to the Phone Holder, but the product description clarifies that only the Phone Holder is being sold. If the customer disputes this, YFX Australia reserves the right to refuse unreasonable requests for product completion, as the images are only meant to illustrate the product overview. However, the customer may request a return, which must be processed according to YFX Australia's return procedure.

Professional Installation Service by YFX Australia - Return and Refund:
If one or more products sold by YFX Australia require a return and refund after being installed by YFX Australia due to certain reasons, YFX Australia will charge a corresponding dismantling fee. Additionally, an assessment will be conducted based on the extent of product usage to determine whether the product is eligible for return and refund. If YFX Australia determines that the product qualifies for return and refund, a restocking fee will be applied.
