Warranty Policy

General Warranty Policy:

YFX Australia reserves the right to assess each warranty claim individually in accordance with ACL requirements.

Our products come with a standard warranty period of three (3) months, unless a specific item is explicitly stated to have a different warranty duration. This warranty ensures that all your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) are fully maintained.

To be eligible for warranty support, the following conditions must be met:

  1. The original outer packaging must be retained by the customer.
If the outer packaging was already damaged at the time of delivery, please take photos immediately to support a potential claim.  If the product itself is undamaged and functions properly upon receipt, but later develops a quality issue, YFX Australia may ignore the packaging damage and proceed directly with the warranty claim.

  2. The product must develop a quality-related fault during use.

  3. The fault must occur within the specified warranty period.

  4. There must be no evidence of physical damage, misuse, or unauthorized modification to the product.

  5. Official manufacturer recall

Extended Warranty Policy:

An Extended Warranty refers to additional coverage provided by YFX Australia on selected products, beyond the standard warranty period. This special warranty will be clearly stated on the respective product page.

If a product does not display extended warranty information online, please notify YFX Australia immediately. We will gladly verify and provide the applicable warranty details for your purchase.

As a gesture of appreciation for bringing this to our attention, we will add extra 1 month of warranty coverage to your product.

Warranty Coverage Examples:

If a customer receives a product from YFX, the warranty covers issues such as natural cracking or quality problems that are not caused by human factors.
The warranty does not cover wear and tear during use, or damage or cracking caused by human factors.

Example 1:
For a charging gun holder, if the user inserts and removes the charging gun parallelly as required, and the product cracks under this condition, it will be covered under warranty.
However, if the charging gun is not inserted or removed parallelly, resulting in product cracking, it will not be covered under warranty.

Example 2:
If a customer installs the HUD themselves without purchasing our "Pro Installation by YFX" service, and the HUD is fully installed and functions properly, any quality issues that arise during use will be covered under warranty.
However, if unusual noises occur during use, it will not be covered under warranty.

Example 3:
If a customer installs mud flaps themselves and finds that the mold does not align properly with the original vehicle (visually exceeding 5%), this is covered under warranty.
After installation, if during the warranty period, severe wear occurs on one side of a mud flap due to misalignment with the original vehicle mold, it is also covered under warranty. However, this does not apply outside the warranty period.
When there are no quality issues, wear and tear of consumable parts during use, or non-natural cracking, are not covered under warranty.
